Manor Grange Stud Conditions of Entry - Health & Safety

No responsibility will be accepted by the organisers for anything that may happen to competitor, onlookers or their property, servants or horses in connection with or arising from these shows. It shall be considered a condition of entry that each entrant agrees to indemnify the promoters against any legal action arising there from.

Everything reasonably practicable has been done to ensure that health, safety and welfare of those who attend the show. Members of the public and competitors are equally responsible for ensuring that they do not put themselves or other persons at risk and that they co-operate with the organisers in compliance with Health & Safety legislation.

HORSES CAN BE DANGEROUS! Horses can easily be frightened and can be dangerous. Members of the public are requested to keep clear from horses/lanes and to avoid behaviour which might alarm horses. Children must be supervised by parent/guardians at all times. HARD HATS, EITHER PAS015 OR EN1384 OR ABOVE MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHEN MOUNTED.

Entries - Entries must be made on the MGS entry form accompanied by the correct fees. No entries will be accepted after the closing date unless including the correct late entry fee.

No refund of entries will be made to those withdrawing after the closing date. A fifty per cent of total entry fees will be returned to those whose withdrawal is received before the closing date, confirmed in writing within 7 days and accompanied by a doctors letter or veterinary certificate.

The organisers retain the right to refuse entry and to amend the details of the schedule if the instances of the programme requires and to cancel any class with insufficient entries. The decision of the judge will be final-any objection should be made to the Secretary, together with a deposit of £25 which will be forfeited if the objection is not upheld by the Committee. It is recommended that all competitors, spectators or their helpers take out a personal injury and public liability insurance policy.

NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE SHOWGROUNG AT ANYTIME.

ENTERING THE SHOW GROUND. The gate leading to the horsebox park, must be closed immediately after entry and exit. (Not the gate from the main road.) All cars must be parked in horsebox park & not at Riding School..

Collecting Ring – The collecting ring gate must be closed on entry and exit. A maximum number of competitors allowed in the collecting ring, at any one time, will be at the show organiser’s discretion on the day. No children will be allowed in the collecting ring under the age of 16 years, unless they are on horseback. No Trainers or spectators are allowed in the warming up area / collecting ring, any alterations to the tack or equipments must be done outside the warming up area / collecting ring. In the Show jumping collecting ring one person will be allowed to make alterations of height to the fence but must be over 16 yrs of age New Rules - Due to recent events and in the safety of our younger riders NO CHILD under the age of 12 years can compete unless they have safety stirrups with rubber sides. NO EXCEPTION
